Welcome to the 2009-2010 season. If you would like to participate in our
scrip program and earn funds to help with travel, equipment and dues there
are many ways to participate and earn. Please see below for your options.
eScrip (Vons Program) - You can go to
www.escrip.com to enroll in the
program. Our identification number is 137635668. You can also enroll friends
and families to support you but you must email me their names so I know to
apply the credit to your childs account. I have also attached and enrollment
form to this email.
Albertsons - You can go to
http://www.albertsons.com/cp to enroll. Our id
number is 49000103803. Again, if you enroll any friends or family please
email me their name so I can apply the credit to your childs account. have
also attached and enrollment form to this email.
Card Scrip - You can find an order form on our website but I have also
attached on to this email. I place the orders every two weeks. The turn in
date is Saturday night (unless special arrangements are made), I order on
Sunday night and the orders are returned back to you on Wednesday. I
scorekeep at the rink for the adult league, in-house and travel so you can
make arrangements to pick up your order while I am scorekeeping or to pick
up at my home.
If you would prefer to fill out the enrollment forms and turn them in form
me to register you just put them in the black lock box on the wall at the
rink (where you turn in your dues).
Please remember to send me the names of any friends or family that you
register. If I do not know who they are supporting they will be applied to
the Wayne Lavaglio Scholarship fund.
Below are the terms and conditions for participation and disbursement of
funds.
RULES FOR USE OF SCRIP FUNDS
These rules have been established as guidelines for the proper use of scrip
funds in that these funds were earned in the name of Thunder Youth Hockey
Club, a non-profit organization, as part of the Mariner/Titan Hockey Club.
It is in the club's interest to protect its non-profit status by carefully
monitoring the use of these funds. Examples of how these funds may be
applied include:
1) Scrip may be used for Hockey related expenses only
2) Mariner/Titans try-out fees
3) Mariner/Titan dues
4) Tournament entry fees for a currently registered Mariner/Titan
Player.
5) Tournament expenses incurred by a currently registered Mariner/Titan
Player when traveling out of town with his/her team. These expenses are
for team members only (not parents, siblings, etc.). Expenses include:
airfare (for player only), hotel, and team transportation expenses.
6) Registration fees for an accelerated summer hockey camp.
7) Player equipment with proper receipts.
8) All individual Scrip accounts are not transferable to other member
accounts.
9) If you leave the club (Mariners/Thunder), you forfeit your scrip
balance.
Any other situations not specifically addressed above will be evaluated on a
case-by-case basis and decided jointly by the President, Scrip Coordinator,
and Treasurer.
